Description of role: - Support the production of events designed for families from the planning to the delivery and to engage directly with staff, freelance artists and families visiting the Whitworth
- Assist with the running of family activities, ranging from big one-off events to smaller-scale regular practical workshops, providing a warm welcome for family visitors of all ages
- Assist artists and creative practitioners in the facilitation of practical workshops designed for families
- Encourage families to participate in activities and enhance their experience as visitors
- Opportunities to photograph sessions and collect feedback from families, assisting with the evaluation of workshops and events
- Opportunities to blog and update our social media networks, to encourage families to visit the gallery
