Organisation Details

St Pauls Withington

Activity type: Children, Education, Music
Stellify Award: This opportunity is part of 'Make a Difference'
Organisation Description: A Church of England Church in the heart of Withington Village. We love God and our neighbours and work with volunteers of all faiths and none to serve the community.
Description of role: Choir Club at St Paul's is launching on Saturday 13th September 2024

It is a new, free Saturday morning club for children of primary school age. Children will have fun while improving their singing skills and understanding of music. It will be led by Dr David Cane a highly qualified musician with lots of experience of teaching and working with children. There will be no audition and children of all abilities are welcome.

We are looking for volunteers who enjoy music and singing and love working with children. The role will be to offer general support but opportunities may arise to gain teaching experience.

The role would be particularly suitable for students who want to gain experience of working with children and young people.

The role is open to children and volunteers of all faiths and none but this is a church activity, and the ethos of Choir Club is Christian so we are looking for volunteers who would be comfortable with that,
