Organisation Description: A Church of England Church in the heart of Withington Village. We love God and our neighbours and work with volunteers of all faiths and none to serve the community.
Description of role: What is the Baby Bank?
A place where people can donate clothes and equipment for babies and children under three so that people who need them can use them and they don’t go to waste. We also want the Baby Bank to be a place people feel welcome and can be signposted to other support.
Volunteer Role
• Welcoming people, listening and chatting to them
• Accepting and sorting donations
• Keeping track of stock
• Keeping everything tidy
• Helping with administration
• Helping people find the other support they need
We are looking for people who are:
• Friendly
• non judgemental
• reliable
Time commitment
• A weekly or fortnightly commitment on Thursday afternoons 12.45 -2.30pm
• Occasional training sessions/ volunteer meetings by agreement
