For this role, you will be engaging in cooking and arts and crafts activities with residents of temporary accommodations, catering to individuals of all ages. This volunteering opportunity offers a diverse and enriching experience, perfect for those who enjoy working with a variety of people. Each week, we alternate between two locations, focusing on different arts and crafts projects. Cooking sessions are exclusively held at Brindale. The residents we support come from various backgrounds, including those affected by domestic abuse, teenage pregnancy, family issues, or those seeking refuge. Our primary aim is not to provide therapy but to offer a relaxing and creative outlet for these individuals.

We want this initiative to be a fun and rewarding experience for our volunteers. As project leaders, we understand that university work takes priority, so there's no pressure to commit to weekly volunteering. Join us whenever you're free and eager to participate! All we ask is that you keep us informed about your availability.
