Description of role: We're looking for new volunteers to help with our charity work for Make a Smile Manchester! If you're passionate about bringing a smile to the faces of disadvantaged/disabled children and their families then we have two roles we think might be for you:
Characters: You would go to our events dressed as the children's favourite fictional characters. We provide all the costumes inc: fairies, Disney princesses, superheroes, mermaids, Jedi's, wizards and more!
Magic makers: You would support our characters at our events. You can interact with the children and their friends and family. We have a variety of activities such as face painting and balloon animals too.
Events that we do include paediatric wards, disability play groups, neurodivergence swimming lessons, deaf play sessions and more! Please note that location of events varies and each event can be signed up to via our Facebook Group.
