Your Role
As a Community Engagement and Events Volunteer, you’ll help deliver holiday clubs, workshops, community events and outreach that bring people together and promote inclusion. You’ll welcome participants, assist facilitators and support activities that create safe, welcoming spaces for children, young people, adults, families, people with disabilities and others facing poverty or barriers in life.
Main Tasks
- Assist with the smooth running of holiday clubs, workshops and community events
- Welcome participants and provide support during sessions
- Help create inclusive and welcoming spaces where everyone can take part
- Share information and encourage involvement in activities
- Support outreach by distributing flyers or signposting to services
- Collect feedback from participants to help improve activities
