Description of role: Are you passionate about everyone having access to clean water? Do you want to make a difference during your time at university? Volunteer for WaterAid as a Student Ambassador and turn your passion into action.
Here in the UK, we probably take clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene for granted. But millions of people still don't have these vital services. Help us make them normal for everyone, everywhere within a generation... Become a Student Ambassador!
As a Student Ambassador for WaterAid, you’ll be the voice of WaterAid at your university. You will unite your fellow students to the WaterAid cause and boost your fundraising efforts on campus. You’ll take action to:
- Educate your university community about the importance of clean water, decent toilets and good hygiene to end extreme poverty and inequality.
- Campaign for government action on the water and sanitation crisis.
- Fundraise to support WaterAid’s work and mission.
- You could even take the next step and set up your own WaterAid Society!
Along the way you’ll develop useful skills and meet like-minded people, as well as gaining some fantastic experience to add to your CV. We'll write you a glowing reference, too.
