Description of role: St Ann's Hospice are looking for volunteers to help support our Specialist Vintage Charity shop based in Stockport's Old Town quarter. The shop specialises in vintage items and clothing with a specialist book room on the first floor selling rare and first edition books. The volunteer role includes researching vintage items, operating the till (full training given) helping create window displays (Our Stockport shop has won several awards for its creative window displays within the Charity sector), sorting through donations and Customer service including answering telephone calls and emails. Full training is given in all roles. We are looking for someone who is creative and enjoys a challenge and is happy to get stuck in and put forward ideas and suggestions and are looking for a flexible volunteer role that works around their studies and commitments.
