Commitment: At least three (3) hours or more per week, working from the office.
Overview:
Cede Foundation is a non-profit organization committed to creating positive change through education and community development. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team as Office/Centre Services Volunteers. This role involves providing essential support in the day-to-day operations of our office, contributing to the smooth functioning of our programs and initiatives.
Responsibilities:
Administrative Support:
Assist in general office tasks such as filing, data entry, and document organization.
Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails and phone calls.
Support the preparation and organization of meetings, events, and workshops.
Front Desk Operations:
Greet visitors, volunteers, and staff in a friendly and professional manner.
Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages as needed.
Maintain a neat and organized front desk area.
Logistics and Coordination:
Coordinate office supplies and ensure stock levels are maintained.
Assist in coordinating logistics for events and activities, including room setup and breakdown.
Team Collaboration:
Collaborate with other volunteers and staff members to ensure efficient office operations.
Contribute to a positive and inclusive office culture.
Special Projects:
Take on special projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the organization.
Qualifications:
Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Proficient in basic office software (e.g., Microsoft Office).
Friendly and approachable demeanour.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Commitment:
Volunteer at least three (3) hours per week, with the flexibility to contribute more hours as needed.
Work from the office location specified.
