Description of role: Position: IT/Social Media Volunteer

Role Type: Volunteer
Commitment: At least one hour per week, with the flexibility to work remotely or in-person as needed.
Overview:
Cede Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering communities through education and outreach programs. We are seeking an enthusiastic IT/Social Media Volunteer to join our team and contribute to our mission of fostering positive change.
Responsibilities:
Social Media Management:
Create and curate engaging content for Cede Foundation's social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
Monitor social media channels for trends, news, and engagement opportunities.
Respond to comments and messages, fostering positive interactions with our online community.
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement social media campaigns.
Content Creation:
Generate visually appealing graphics, images, and multimedia content for social media.
Draft and edit written content for blog posts, newsletters, and other communication channels.
IT Support:
Assist in maintaining and troubleshooting IT systems and software.
Provide support to team members and volunteers for IT-related issues.
Contribute to the development and implementation of IT policies and procedures.
Collaboration:
Work closely with other volunteers and staff to integrate IT and social media strategies into overall organizational goals.
Attend virtual or in-person meetings as necessary to stay informed about ongoing projects and initiatives.
Flexibility:
Volunteer at least one hour per week, with the option to contribute additional hours based on availability.
Choose to work remotely or from the office, depending on personal preference and project requirements.
Qualifications:
Strong interest in and understanding of social media platforms.
Basic knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
Creativity and a keen eye for visual design.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
