Description of role: Joining our Volunteer Fundraising & Events team, you will engage in project fundraising activities, striving to secure essential funds for our charity's initiatives and elevate the profile of Sovereign House GH locally. Fundraising efforts range from pop-up dinners and bake sales to carol singing, bag packing, and various challenges. You will collaborate with the team to enhance the visibility of your project.

Skills Acquired:
- Teamwork: Collaborate effectively within a team.
- Event Planning: Master the art of organizing, planning, and executing events, including pop-up supper clubs, holiday campaigns, sponsored walks, and trivia nights.
- Leadership and Delegation: Lead a volunteer team in event execution and serve as the primary liaison for external parties interested in fundraising for your project.
- Promotion: Actively promote your project's events.
- Networking: Build connections with local organizations and coordinate events, partnering for joint ventures when suitable.

Considerations:
- A minimum commitment of 9 months is requested from Volunteer Fundraisers to fully benefit from the role.
- A reference is required.
- Completion of a project report post-fundraising.

Availability: The role commences once all prerequisites are verified.
Schedule: Monday to Sunday, mornings, afternoons and evenings - as pre-arranged and agreed
Duration: We expect a minimum of 9 Months to gain valuable skills from this experience
