Organisation Description: Community Revival (UK) is a publically-funded, not-for-profit organisation, limited by guarantee which was established in January 2006. As its name implies, we exist to refresh and revitalise the local community with a range of projects including training, education, employment, recreation and social activities. Most of our beneficiaries are from the BME community with the majority being women, however Community Revival does engage with all sections of society irrespective of background. We also look at health and well being activities to build confidence of our service users.
Description of role: > To organise data at local and regional levels split into wards in relation to working age in the UK
> Looking at current work being carried out locally that fits or streamlines with GMCA(Greater Manchester Combined Authority) priority and growth areas/sectors for unemployed.
> Work with supervisor to follow instruction and guidelines of researching data.
What are challenges for newly arrived migrants and possible opportunities plan?
> You are expected to outline by exploring innovative ways of tackling challenges of migrants' communities within GM.
> Conclude findings to propose a set of activities for migrants communities.
C19 guidelines in place. Flexible hours 3 to 6 hours per week or could work full one week or more-you may choose your own days and times for volunteering. Remote or online options available.
