Description of role: We are seeking web developers skilled in WordPress to join our team. The role involves maintaining and updating our websites, leveraging site developments, engaging with the public, and implementing top SEO practices. Our website is operational, and we are in need of volunteers to assist with weekly updates, as well as continuous content and design enhancements.
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and PHP.
- Knowledge of web application operations, including security, session management, and best development practices.
- Expertise in technical troubleshooting.
- Demonstrated experience in website maintenance, web development, and design.
Availability:
The volunteer position will commence following the verification of references and arrangements.
Schedule:
Volunteers are needed from Monday to Sunday, with flexible morning, afternoon, or evening shifts as prearranged.
Commitment:
A minimum commitment of 9 months is required from volunteer web developers to fully benefit from the experience.
