Description of role: At Change Grow Live we believe training is a great way to engage and connect with people who use our services. We also consider that having a well-trained workforce supports us to deliver the best possible outcomes. We offer a wide range of training programmes, which provide varied outcomes to learners.

You will be working alongside the Volunteer Lead and Workforce Development Lead in the promotion, preparation, and delivery of learning. You will need to help learners to identify any support needs they have and help address these. Finally, you will have the opportunity to help us shape how we deliver learning by contributing to the review of our materials.

Duties:

> To support delivery of Change Grow Lives’ Accredited Learning Prospectus, including:

> Working alongside the Volunteer Lead and Workforce Development Lead to promote courses to service users, volunteers, staff, and stakeholders

> Taking part in relevant meetings (Standardisation Events) to ensure practice is kept up to date
> Reflect and seek feedback to develop own performance to improve own practice
> Identify any risks, safeguarding matters and report any needs, concerns or inappropriate behaviour to Volunteer Lead on an on-going basis

An important part of the role is listening to people and sharing what you have heard with the service, representing their views, and using their feedback to help inform how we develop and improve our services. You will help to ensure people hear about any decisions or changes that are made because of their feedback. You will be working with Change Grow Live staff and connecting with the wider community.

We also expect an assertive approach to ensuring the safety and well-being of all children, young people and adults, and applicants to these posts will need to demonstrate an understanding of and commitment to best safeguarding practice. We are actively recruiting people who can offer us 1 – 3 days per week to work within our drug & alcohol service; we are specifically looking for people who are keen and enthusiastic and would be able to commit to staying as a volunteer with us for up to one year.
