Description of role: We’re currently seeking volunteers to support our collections team with a range of hands-on tasks that help preserve and manage thousands of objects.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in heritage, museums, or conservation work—and no prior experience is needed. Full guidance will be provided.
Key tasks include:
> Assisting with auditing and inventory of our collection
> Supporting the movement of objects
> Helping with basic cataloguing as needed
> Carrying out condition checks
> Participating in object cleaning and care
What we’re looking for:
> Attention to detail and a careful approach
> Willingness to learn and follow procedures
