Description of role: Global Rahmah Foundation (GRF) is a leading international humanitarian charity dedicated to alleviating poverty, delivering emergency aid, and empowering communities through sustainable development projects. We are looking for a proactive and organized Mosque Fundraising Coordinator to support the planning and delivery of our fundraising activities. Job Summary:
Global Rahmah Foundation is looking for a proactive and organised Fundraiser to join our team. This role focuses on planning and executing fundraising events, building partnerships, and helping organise fundraising challenges to meet our mission-driven goals. The successful candidate will work toward a 1:3 return ratio, aiming to multiply each investment in fundraising activities by generating at least triple the amount raised in funds. As Mosque Fundraising Coordinator, you will support the Fundraising Manager and wider team in the coordination of fundraising campaigns, events, donor communications, and day-to-day operations. You’ll be a key player in helping us meet our income targets and build strong relationships with our supporters.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Assist in the planning and delivery of seasonal and emergency fundraising campaigns (e.g., Ramadan, Winter, Gaza Appeals).
2. Support donor communication efforts, including thank-you messages, updates, and reports.
3. Help coordinate community fundraising events and initiatives.
4. Maintain and update fundraising databases and CRM systems.
5. Process donations and ensure accurate recording and reporting.
6. Assist in creating fundraising content, including emails, social media posts, and campaign materials.
7. Respond to donor enquiries and provide excellent supporter care.
8. Track fundraising performance and prepare basic reports and summaries for internal use.
9. Collaborate with the communications, programs, and finance teams to ensure smooth coordination.
