Activity type: Administration, Community Work, Education, Fundraising, Marketing, PR and Media, Youth Work and Young People
Stellify Award: This opportunity is part of 'Make a Difference'
Organisation Description: S.A.L.V.E. is a UK and Ugandan partnership charity. We support children to stop living on the streets of Uganda through counselling, care, family reunification and education.
Description of role: Do you want to make a difference to a small charity? Have you got a few hours a week to spare? Would you like something to put on your CV as you learn new skills? If so, we would love you to volunteer with S.A.L.V.E.!
We are a small UK and Ugandan partnership charity and we are looking for students to support us remotely with one of our fundraising initiatives. We need students to help us by emailing businesses to help gain prizes for our raffle in Spring 2025. This can all be done remotely and full training will be given. You can do it in whatever hours that you choose and all that we ask is that you check in with us regularly to let us know how you're getting on! We ask for a minimum commitment of one hour a week and this project will be finished by the end of February 2025. We appreciate this crosses exam and Christmas periods so we don't expect you to be volunteering then :)
