Description of role: We share our love for conservation with a diverse range of volunteers through a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
Woodland management
Hedge laying and dry-stone walling
Footpath, steps, and fence construction
Habitat creation
Board walk & dipping platform installation
The amazing work of our volunteers stretches throughout Greater Manchester, with projects having been completed in Salford, Tameside, Rochdale, Trafford, Stockport, and Bury.
Bring along a packed lunch, water, and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty as well as sturdy foot wear. TCV will provide all tools and gloves.
The Midweek Group meets every Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10am – 3pm and cover various locations across Greater Manchester. You can meet us on site or book the minibus pick up from our office at Sale Water Park
