Description of role: We share our love for conservation with a diverse range of volunteers through a variety of tasks including but not limited to:
Woodland management
Hedge laying and dry-stone walling
Footpath, steps, and fence construction
Habitat creation
Board walk & dipping platform installation
The amazing work of our volunteers stretches throughout Greater Manchester, with projects having been completed in Salford, Tameside, Rochdale, Trafford, Stockport, and Bury.
Bring along a packed lunch, water, and wear clothes that you don't mind getting dirty as well as sturdy foot wear. TCV will provide all tools and gloves.
Our midweek group meets every Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, and you can attend all or one of these days depending on your interest. We have two pick up points if you do not have your own transport.
Tuesdays at 9.30am, outside Tesco, Valley Park Road, Prestwich, M25 3TG
Wednesdays and Thursdays at 9.30am outside the Pendulum Hotel, Sackville Street, Manchester, M1 3BB OR Sale Water Park, Rifle Road, Sale, M33 2LX based on majority vote
